TIAA Banks on IAM to Deliver Better Customer Experiences
Financial transactions in the digital age are often a sticky topic, raising conversations that range from privacy to security to fraud. But Rob Davis, Director of Security Services, is all about putting a positive spin on security conversations at TIAA—and pushing the boundaries of security.
As a result, TIAA was able to gain momentum for digital transformation initiatives, accelerate digital business models and achieve significant customer experience improvements across web and mobile environments. I'm the Director of Security Services under the Digital Channel Technology Group.
[MUSIC] In 2015, we kicked off our digital transformation program, and heading into 2016, we really gained a lot of momentum with digitizing our operational processes.
We've accelerated some of our digital business models.
And of course made some significant improvements on our customer experience through web and mobile.
We've deployed a brand new mobile app that helps us with products and services through that channel.
We've also created a watch app using Ping OpenID Connect and OAuth to help us deliver some very interesting intriguing features through that fingerprint, biometric and as well as peek view.
[MUSIC] We're entering these applications in the marketplace and in a time where we can take advantage of looking at what's out there.
Our peek view technology, I think is unique among financial services right now.
We're taking some risks in pushing the boundaries of what we think we can provide to our customers.
Pushing the lines of where security may have traditionally said no, we're moving that forward.
[MUSIC] Ping provides the cutting edge technology that we need to deliver the technologies that the customers are looking for.
Our peek capabilities, the new solutions we have in our mobile app.
Without the adoption of standards, OpenID Connect, OAuth, some of the multifactor capabilities.
The integration of the risk systems, ThreatMetrix, we would not be able to, at least rapidly provide that capability.
So Ping is a big partner for us.
Ping Identity, PingFederate, PingAccess.
We're looking to further leverage more products from Ping, as we see them to grow our digital business, help our digital transformation be successful.
