My name is Robert Durant.
I am the global manager of engineering for Systems and networks at Glenair.
What Glenair does is we make mission-critical cables, connectors, Even hardware now that goes in aircrafts and spacecrafts that can endure the environments of Space or water.
Today we are using both PingID and Ping Federate because our Ping design is global.
We have different domain controllers like Blender.com and Lender.uk around the world.
Those are different domains.
They don't talk to each other.
Ping is what brings them together, so if I travel to the UK, I'm able to log in using The UK cluster to authenticate to the US.
Bing was launched in our company in 2001 for just a select amount of use, Of about 200.
Today we have over 2000 users authenticating and we are still growing.
We had passwords like no one else.
We had 89 passwords because we had 89 Different domains across the world.
And by having Bing and all these sites feed in their Active-Directory-AD users, We were able to create one identity for everyone worldwide.
We chose Ping because Ping provided a hybrid solution, which is both on-premises and in the Cloud, and in our business, we had to deploy everything in-house.
It cannot be in the cloud, and we can literally design our flow the way we wanted.
Before Ping, we had no MFA at all, and now we do, and when we see that green check mark, That means you are good to go.
The metrics we're using to manage the Ping application are the embedded reports that Come with Ping.
It allows us to tell how many people are Logged in, when they're logging in, and then at the same time we're able to use those metrics To see our Help Desk applications, to see how many tickets have been reduced, And we believe over 40% of tickets have been, uh, reduced in our system.
It's important to have trust in our foundation at Glennair because we need to be able to Securely authenticate these users because nobody wants passwords, Right?
So having PingID allows us to trust everything That happens 1,000 times a day.
