This month, we focused on helping teams build and operate identity with less friction while improving resilience, visibility, and control.

July brought major progress for AI-assisted identity work, guided experience creation, self-managed software, cloud deployment options, identity verification, fraud tuning, and production promotion. Together, these updates reflect a clear direction: make modern identity easier to adopt and manage.

AI-first headless identity gives admins and builders new ways to build, configure, and manage identity through MCP servers, CLI access, skills, and agent-ready documentation. The result is a faster path to AI-assisted identity work without requiring teams to adopt a separate product or abandon the console they already know.

The PingOne Design Center introduces a guided, wizard-driven way to configure CIAM journeys and security settings with real-time preview and one-click testing. Because each experience creates a DaVinci flow under the hood, teams can get to a working starting point faster and move into deeper customization later without starting over.

Ping Identity introduces shared device authentication for frontline teams in retail, manufacturing, logistics, and utilities. By verifying the worker instead of the device, our verified trust approach lets staff sign in on any shared terminal with a biometric check. That gets employees on task faster, ties every action to a verified worker for stronger audit trails, and cuts login friction without weakening security.

DaVinci now reaches more complex estates by supporting older browser engines and embedded WebView scenarios that previously limited orchestration rollouts. The DaVinci AI Assistant can explain flows, surface documentation, help troubleshoot failed journeys, and support faster flow creation inside the product. A redesigned plus menu and easier node placement also reduce friction for teams building and iterating on flows day to day.

Most vendors that offer Identity for AI solutions are delivering SaaS, leaving highly regulated and air-gapped organizations without a viable way to secure AI with identity they can run themselves. As part of this major Ping Advanced Identity Software update, Ping extends Identity for AI to self-managed deployments, furthering long-term investment in its software stack.

PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud now offers a multi-region high-availability option with near real-time replication and faster failover targets for customers that need a stronger recovery posture. Q2 also added pre-configured OIDC clients that automatically generate the credentials and environment data needed to connect PingOne services with less manual setup. A bundled Snowflake connector further expands control by helping teams manage users, roles, and synchronized identity data from the identity layer.

Organizations operating in India need to support Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) obligations and reduce latency. With PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud now available in an India region, Ping helps customers keep identity services closer to users and align deployments to local data residency expectations.

PingOne Protect now gives fraud teams more precise control by exposing rule IDs across predictors and composite conditions, allowing more targeted tuning and investigation. Teams can also exclude specific noisy rules and adjust how individual rules affect severity without disabling broader protections. A faster three-month dashboard view rounds out the update by making threat analysis more focused and responsive.

PingOne Recognize now gives users live enrollment and authentication guidance, which helps reduce failed liveness attempts and improve confidence during biometric interactions. It also adds support for multiple secrets in the SDK, giving organizations more flexibility for complex authentication use cases while maintaining strong controls.

PingOne Configuration Management now supports native promotion to production in as few as four clicks. With resource-level control, dependency handling, environment variables, rollback, and auditability, teams can move changes from testing to live rollout with less risk and less manual effort.

The PingOne connector catalogue now includes out-of-the-box provisioning connections for Box, DocuSign, and Dropbox. That gives customers broader SaaS lifecycle coverage from a single identity layer without the extra effort of custom integrations.
