SSL handshake errors

Hello -
We connect to the Ping Federated servers through an Apache proxy.  Less than 1% of the time connecions fail with an SSL handshake error between the proxy and the SAML server.  Since it is so sporadic it has been difficult to troubleshoot.  This occurs during real connections and also connecting to the monitor.

Any ideas?

sp initiated sso, /idp/SSO.saml2 forbidden error

Hi ,
i am getting the following error

You don't have permission to access /idp/SSO.saml2 on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

we are acting as an identity provider and it is an sp initiated redirect post.
/idp/SSO.saml2 is the identity provider sso end point. when a user clicks a link at the sp, he gets redirected along with an saml request, at which poing we are getting this error.

please suggest.
