Identiverse 2018 Announces Call for Presentations

Cloud Identity Summit Convenes in Boston Under New Name, Now Called Identiverse Key Breakout, Networking and Workshop Themes to Discuss the Future of Identity Security

Boston — November 27, 2017

Identiverse, formerly known as Cloud Identity Summit (CIS), today announced it’s now accepting proposals for presentations. The Identity industry’s largest and premier annual identity security conference will be held June 24-27, 2018 in Boston. The deadline for proposal submissions is January 12, 2018.

New Year, New Name

In a landmark year for security, during which social security numbers lost meaning after high-profile security breaches and biometrics became a consumer norm for the latest smartphones, identity reigns as a mainstay foundation for trust. For the past eight years, Cloud Identity Summit has served as a leading platform where identity and security thought leaders and more than 2,000 delegates assemble to address security challenges. In light of this growing influence on such critical security topics, the conference will transition to its new monicker, Identiverse.

"There’s no question that the many security breaches in 2017 reinforced and proved the value of identity security," said Andre Durand, Ping Identity CEO and founder of the Identiverse conference. "We're living in a new reality where enterprises are starting to understand that identity is a must have, not a nice to have. Identiverse provides an opportunity to bring experts and innovators together as we explore a new era in identity and prepare to discuss effective solutions, best practices and more. It's the event to attend if you want learn about and advance your identity security efforts."

Identiverse 2018 will bring together thought leaders, CIOs, architects and IT practitioners to discuss and present market research, innovations, case studies and best practices that will shape the future of identity and identity access management (IAM). The conference boasts 2,000 people, 200 sessions and more than 50 vendors across four days. Past speakers include ex-CIA operative Valerie Plame, Frank Abagnale, General David Petraeus and representatives from 3M, Amazon Web Services, Department of Homeland Security, General Electric, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Salesforce, Visa, the White House and others.

Calling All Presenters!

Identiverse sessions will showcase new advancements, use cases and ideas benefiting from identity technology. Experts in identity, cloud, security and mobile technologies along with business owners driving identity-enabled digital transformation and customer identity projects are encouraged to submit presentations. The event is seeking proposals by January 12, 2018 around the following topics, in addition to those of general interest to the digital identity and security community:
