Press Release
Lisa Ferrari Dunn of Ping Identity Named in CRN’s Women of the Channel in Consecutive Years
Denver — May 16, 2017
Ping Identity today announced that Lisa Ferrari Dunn, director of field and channel marketing, has been named to the prestigious 2017 Women of the Channel list from CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company. Dunn was also a 2016 honoree.
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.
“These extraordinary executives support every aspect of the channel ecosystem, from technical innovation to marketing to business development, working tirelessly to keep the channel moving into the future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They are creating and elevating channel partner programs, developing fresh go-to-market strategies, strengthening the channel's network of partnerships and building creative new IT solutions, among many other contributions. We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”
Dunn: Driving the Key Initiatives for Channel Success
Working with Ping’s sales and business development organizations, the company’s channel business grew by more than 70 percent year-over-year, and added new partners to its PingPartner Network and Technology Alliance Programs. Under Dunn’s leadership, Ping continues to extend its reach and strategic focus on demand generation programs like webinars, field events and sales enablement activities, and expanding its relationships with key partners such as Optiv Security and Microsoft.
Dunn and her team were heavily involved in Ping’s partnership announcement with Microsoft last year, to enable enterprises to connect on-premises web applications to Azure Active Directory via PingAccess. This has driven massive awareness and interest from global enterprise companies.
The Cloud Identity Summit (CIS), hosted by Ping, is an annual industry-wide identity conference. It delivers tremendous impact to our partner community, and the greater IAM industry as many partners sponsor, speak and drive sales acceleration at the event. Dunn and her team are actively involved; in 2016 more than 1,000 attendees and speakers from the Identity communities participated, creating even more excitement for the 2017 event in June in Chicago.
Lisa Ferrari Dunn, said, “It’s an honor to once again be included in this listing of women channel leaders. I humbly share this recognition with my team, as our commitment to being the preferred partner in identity and access management is an everyday goal we embrace. As Ping works to meet customers’ needs, we know our channel and technology partners are a key part of our success.”
The 2017 Women of the Channel list will be featured in the June issue of CRN Magazine and is already online at www.CRN.com/wotc.
