Ping Identity launches new centralised authentication solutions

These solutions include single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA), as well as acceleration-focused Ping Professional Services, which caters for both employee and customer experience.

Both Ping platforms leverage cloud technology, and are flexible in that they can:

  • Authenticate users of any application, directory or situation
  • Allow for no add-on costs, which simplifies pricing.

“With the ability to deploy quickly in any cloud, whether it be public, private, or a hybrid environment, our new solutions will help global enterprises efficiently tackle and simplify some of their most complex security and user productivity challenges, while enabling line of business initiatives and supporting corporate IT teams with advanced use cases,” said Loren Russon, vice-president of product management at Ping Identity.

Customer360

The Customer360 solution focuses on the customer, and features registration, login and MFA capabilities, the latter being compatible with many security requirements and customer preferences.

Additionally, users can leverage Customer360 for the purposes of customer identity management, and self-service profile management.

Passwordless authentication options, such as email or SMS MFA, are being made available in an aim to drive customer engagement and sales.

For transaction approvals, fingerprints or face scans from a mobile app can be used for authentication.

Workforce360

Workforce360 offers employee identity services, consisting of centralised authentication regardless of the user’s location.

Additionally, its identity solution can extend across a variety of hybrid IT environments, providing out-of-the-box integrations, as well as extension capabilities for software-as-a-service (SaaS), legacy applications and cloud applications.
