a good thing!
RSA Is the Place to Be in April, and Ping Identity Is Your “Must-Visit” Booth
We’re not the only ones frantically preparing for a successful RSA Conference this year. Colorful booths, exciting attractions, an abundance of meetings, powerful presentations—it’s the event to attend next month. Taking place April 16-20 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, the 2018 RSA Conference brings together more than 45,000 of the brightest minds in security to discuss current and future industry concerns. This year’s theme, Now Matters, centers around finding solutions for today’s cyberthreats and finding them quickly.
Identity in security? This is where Ping Identity takes center stage. Prepare to hear best practices designed to deliver real-world perspectives and use cases around identity that span a range of security and standards challenges. Senior Technical Architect Sarah Squire will present on identity and access management (IAM) and design, and she’ll moderate a panel on the future of identity—alongside fellow IDPro board members. Additionally, our IoT expert, Robert Brown, will present on identity-based security and privacy for the Internet of Things.
Here are some of our RSA sessions you’ll want to attend:
On April 17 at 1:00 pm PT, Sarah will join this interactive, all-female panel discussion to present a diverse set of real-world perspectives on building security and standards into workable IAM solutions. The audience will learn how to disentangle executive IAM dreams from IT’s ability to execute, as well as best practices for identity standards and solutions.
Robert will outline how the IoT presents both a challenge and opportunity for identity management. In his presentation on April 18 at 3:00 pm PT, he’ll propose why IoT verticals, platforms and protocols require an identity layer that acknowledges the full continuum of risk, and appropriate security measures, that the IoT presents. He’ll examine how existing and new tools (OAuth, UMA, FIDO, and DLTs) may help meet these fundamental requirements for securing the IoT.
On April 19 at 8:00 am PT, Sarah will facilitate a discussion with IDPro board members on the future of identity. The audience will discover why a dedicated digital identity professional organization is required in today’s security climate, and they’ll learn how IDPro can benefit them and their employers.
Be sure to stop by the Ping Identity Booth #1021 in the South Hall. Attendees can learn how to maximize their investment in identity security solutions, speak with technology experts and experience product demonstrations. We’re letting our customers’ voices be heard loud and clear this year, and you’ll get a good dose of why they always say “It just works” when asked why they love our products.
Plus, don’t miss out on visiting The Bumbys in our booth. These anonymous performance artists provide a “fair and honest appraisal of your appearance,” using nothing but analog typewriters and charming wit. Participants stand in front of them, while they type out a personalized narrative that playfully describes how your appearance is read by the world. Because we’re showcasing the fair and honest appraisals our customers give us, we wanted to give attendees the opportunity to get an appraisal of their own.
It’s sure to be a good time, and we look forward to seeing you there!
