Ping Identity Launches New Product Capabilities to Improve Customer Experience and Modernize Enterprise IAM Systems
This week, hundreds of identity and access management (IAM) leaders, IT security professionals, enterprise architects, and developers from enterprises around the world are gathering in Boston for Identiverse—the world’s largest identity industry conference—to learn about the hottest new technology and trends from industry experts.
At the conference, we’re sharing our global authentication authority vision and announcing the general availability of several new product releases and feature updates focused on making IAM easier for enterprises.
In this blog, we’ll highlight the most notable releases from Ping Identity and how they can help you improve your customer experience and modernize your IAM systems.
According to a PwC report, 59% of U.S. customers will walk away from a brand after several bad experiences, and 17% after just one. Yet a superior customer experience is hard to provide when customer profile data is collected over the course of multiple interactions, across multiple channels and stored in different places across your organization.
This siloed identity data can lead to inconsistent and disjointed digital experiences that frustrate customers and often require them to maintain multiple sets of credentials. Ping Identity’s IAM platform addresses this challenge by delivering seamless single sign-on (SSO) and a unified profile for all of your customers in one place, no matter the channel through which they choose to engage.
This month, Ping Identity is introducing the following releases and new features to further improve customer experience and boost engagement.
PingFederate 9.1
PingFederate 9.1 follows the pattern established by the 9.0 release by delivering significant feature enhancements, including major advancements in authentication policies and additional options for self-service. The new release adds support for features such as forgotten username, email ownership verification, CAPTCHA and more. These capabilities will improve the registration and sign-on experience for customers engaging with your brand across multiple channels and devices.
PingFederate PingID SDK Integration Kit and Connector
The new PingID SDK Integration Kit provides an out-of-the-box integration to PingFederate, making it easier for enterprises to implement authentication within customer-facing mobile applications. This integration kit also includes customizable user interface templates to make it simpler for enterprises to provide a seamless, branded customer experience while maintaining a strong security posture.
The PingID SDK Connector supports a range of customer attributes for provisioning and deprovisioning of users and a diverse set of authentication methods such as email, SMS, and voice one-time passcodes. The automatic provisioning enhancement improves the customer experience, by reducing the lag between profile creation and user access to their associated resources.
With over 5.2 billion global users and 11.5 billion mobile-ready devices in the world today, enterprises are pressured to support their workforce, customers, and partners across a diverse range of new modern apps and deployment models. Today’s enterprises are modernizing their IAM systems in order to provide centralized and secure access to the evolving landscape of applications.
This month we’re announcing several enhancements to make it even easier for you migrate from legacy web access management (WAM) systems to a modern access management solution.
PingAccess Policy Migration
A new product from Ping Identity, PingAccess Policy Migration (PA PM) removes the burdensome and error-prone processes involved in manually migrating hundreds of policies from your legacy WAM system to PingAccess. PA PM allows you to maintain your existing network architecture with options to migrate to agent or proxy configurations. During migration, PA PM also enables you to review corresponding import and export values to ensure accuracy, as well as troubleshoot common mapping and export errors.
PingAccess 5.1
The newest PingAccess release makes it easier for enterprises to migrate from legacy WAMs and modernize their IAM environment by increasing flexibility to match existing deployment architectures and incorporate data from API-enabled systems like mobile device management solutions and threat detection systems to make better access decisions.
PingFederate Zscaler Connector 1.0
The new PingFederate Connector for Zscaler enables enterprises to set up SSO and reduce administrative efforts by offering a quick connection template for provisioning users and groups. With quick provisioning to new modern applications like Zscaler, Ping helps you easily incorporate the modern applications your users require while continuing to support your existing applications.
