The results are in. We're pleased to announce that Ping Identity has been named a leader in the Gartner 2017 Magic Quadrant for Access Management, Worldwide.
The new Magic Quadrant documents vendors who deliver the capabilities required to protect "on-premises or SaaS applications and web services APIs across business-to-employee (B2E), B2B and B2C use cases." According to Gartner, "Leaders in the AM market generally have significant customer bases," and also "provide feature sets that are appropriate for current customer use-case needs."
With more choices than ever before, it's important to understand your business requirements today and in the future, and which capabilities will be needed to meet them. When it comes to meeting the requirements of enterprise customers, no one is more prepared than Ping Identity.
Our customers have complex needs. Some require flexibility in how they consume software, others integration with homegrown applications. Gartner lists a number of important decision factors for vendor selection. The top five most common access management requirements we hear from customers included in this list are:
Applications that require reverse proxy and HTTP header-style authentication
Commercial applications that can't easily support externalized access management
API authentication, authorization and traffic throttling
