PingAccess Cloud Automation
While large enterprises are adopting a cloud-first mentality, the verdict is still out on the specific way software is deployed in the cloud. Many enterprises today are leveraging devops techniques to reduce the management resources needed while still being able to retain control over their cloud environments.
At Ping, we're further enabling these enterprises with the latest release of PingAccess. For the first time, enterprises are able to use provided cloud automation templates for AWS. As a result, when deploying PingAccess in AWS, enterprises can now benefit from automated deployments, auto-scaling, zero downtime upgrades and environment configuration promotion.
PingAccess Solution Accelerator
Automating cloud deployments in AWS is a notable trend, but many large organizations still choose to leverage professional services to ensure an ideal deployment. This allows them to focus on other tasks while allowing qualified experts to assist and accelerate getting their organization's IAM infrastructure up to speed.
This is why we're so pleased to announce our new solution accelerator for PingAccess. This offering helps enterprises break free of legacy systems as seamlessly and securely as possible. The solution accelerator is a multi-step program that works through planning and design, deployment and configuration, and application and policy migration.
PingID Offline Authentication
Modern networks are faster and more reliable than ever, but they're anything but fail-safe. The mobile workforce makes uninterrupted connectivity even more challenging. Authentication services can dramatically improve security, but they can be susceptible to network issues and prevent users from connecting to the apps they need to get their work done, killing productivity and effectively costing the enterprise dearly.
We haven't taken this challenge lightly. With the latest release of PingID, we've provided an innovative solution for authenticating users strongly using multi-factor authentication (MFA), even when users are offline. The new feature prompts users to scan a QR code using their trusted device with the PingID app to reveal a one-time passcode that can be used offline to give the user access to critical apps even when the MFA service is unavailable or can't be reached.
