As you know, the Cloud Identity Summit is around the corner, so @CloudIDSummit is hosting the third annual Tweet Jam on Thursday, April 14th at 3pm ET. This is an hour-long Twitter event where you can get a preview of the discussions and sessions coming this June in #CISNOLA and we welcome your participation!
We will be talking about the R/evolution of Security: it starts with identity. The worlds of digital identity and security are coming together, and they're evolving to provide secure, convenient and cost-effective services across multiple channels. We'll also cover identity as the perimeter, security in an increasingly connected world, the changing privacy and regulatory landscape, and much more!
Register Now for the Cloud Identity Summit 2016, June 6-9, in New Orleans, LA here.
The Tweet Jam will once again be moderated by Elinor Mills, VP of Content at Bateman Group. Elinor is well known in the security industry, and has spent 20 years as a security reporter at AP, Reuters, IDG, CNET, and more. The jam will also feature experts from the identity and security community, including vendors, industry analysts, influencers and media. Anyone with a Twitter account is invited to be a part of the conversation with our lineup of panelists.
To access the discussion, please follow #CISNOLA during the allotted discussion time. Whether this is your first tweet jam or you're a regular, here's a quick overview of what's expected:
Have your first #CISNOLA tweet be a self-introduction: name, affiliation, occupation.
Start all other tweets with the question number you're responding to and #CISNOLA.
Example: Answer Q1 with "A1: <comment> #CISNOLA"
Please refrain from product or service promotions. This is to exchange knowledge and stimulate discussion, not push sales.
A tweet jam is like a public forum, panel discussion or town hall meeting--be focused and thoughtful.
This is professional, but don't be stuffy. No one has a problem with informality.
Updated: Check out the next CIS follow-up blog which features the list of questions that'll be discussed and more. It should be a lively chat, so we hope you can join!
