Hundreds of Ping customers and partners, as well as future Ping customers, gathered for our IDENTIFY event last week in San Francisco. The third of four gatherings in the series, it was a great opportunity to share perspectives on how Digital Transformation is redefining markets and driving growth. We heard countless stories of how those who embrace digital transformation are disrupting business models, reaching new levels of efficiency and finding new ways to win markets.
These events never get old for me because the energy and passion that our customers have for our technology and the impact it is having on their business is invigorating. I took away three observations from San Francisco IDENTIFY:
Nothing Tops Customer Success Stories - After keynotes from our CEO Andre Durand and Patrick Harding our CTO, we unleashed a series of customer presentations. Greg Smith from Johnson & Johnson presented on Multi Factor Authentication (MFA), Bernard Diwakar from Intuit shared their Single Sign-On (SSO), MFA and Access initiatives. Justin Slaten from Netflix was great, along with many others. These well-recognized brands shared their experiences in a collection of presentations that few conferences can produce. They view Ping as a true partner in their success, and hearing their stories validates what we offer today and what we're building.
Taking Employees on the Digital Transformation Journey - One of our advocates at Cisco, Shane Harms, described their aggressive plans for rolling out PingID for MFA to 140,000 employees around the globe. The pace of implementation is impressive, but what caught my attention was the internal public relations and promotion they've planned to gain user acceptance and increase adoption rates. It's a great reminder of how important it is to bring your users along on the journey as you work to keep them secure. You can't embrace the swipe without everyone embracing the swipe.
Customer Identity and Access Management is HOT. OK, that's not news, but my observation is just how well positioned Ping is to capture this market. Our announcement last week - Ping Identity Raises the Bar for CIAM - garnered a lot of positive attention. The combined strengths of Ping and UnboundID are already paying huge dividends as customers see incredible value in one platform for all identities--employees, partners and customers. We have much more to share on our plans to redefine this market so stay tuned.
All eyes now shift to New York. Next week we're hosting our fourth IDENTIFY on Wednesday November 16th. We have another exciting agenda and a full day of content planned, complete with customer presentations from J & J, Merck and ADP as well as partners including Microsoft and Optiv. Plus, leading CIAM Gartner analyst, Mary Ruddy, will be joining us. I encourage you to attend; you'll be glad you did!
