As a product manager, it is always enjoyable to talk about the recognition and momentum of Ping Identity solutions. Even more so when the recognition comes from a leading analyst firm that reinforces our standards-based approach to delivering solutions that are fast to implement, cost-effective and secure.
We're very happy to announce that Ping Identity received a "positive" rating in Gartner's latest "MarketScope for Web Access Management," which was authored by Gregg Kreizman, research director for IT.
This positive rating in Gartner's annual MarketScope Report, gives our customers added confidence in adopting Ping's access management solutions. The message is that we are delivering enterprise-grade identity and security solutions the market desires.
According to the report, "federation requirements for SaaS access, mobile application single sign-on and social login continue to drive feature changes and new and expanded business in the Web access management market. Gartner clients are looking for lower complexity and costs for these features."
This is exciting news as it comes on the heels of Ping Identity's recent release of PingAccess 2.0, which is an identity gateway that extends PingFederate to provide a complete, next-generation mobile, web and API access management solution.
Unlike traditional proprietary WAM solutions, which only focus on protecting web applications, PingAccess addresses the new age where mobile and API access control is as important as web access management.
With the addition of PingAccess to Ping Identity's identity and access management platform of PingOne for cloud identity management services and our flagship PingFederate for federation, single sign-on and enterprise identity bridge needs, Ping delivers a unique and comprehensive set of IAM capabilities that also includes standards-based user management capabilities. In addition, enterprise IT organizations can deploy Ping Identity products in the cloud and the data center to support their customers, partners and employee identity management requirements.
