There is really only one true validation test of corporate software - or cloud-based services for that matter - and that test is corporate deployment.
"Real world" has no equal.
So it is with delight that I get to take the wraps off a selection of stories that peek beyond the walls of some of our customers and examine what they have done and why; the results they are enjoying; and how they have bridged from internal to the cloud; how they have provided single sign-on to employees, partners and contractors; how they have incorporated mobile; and how they have positioned themselves for the future.
Their stories are unique but their vertical industries are familiar: services, health care, consulting and education. Read on for details and links.

Take ZS Associates, which offers online service aimed at sales and marketing. The company built a bridge using Ping Federate to add SSO services to cloud-based applications. ZS also used the bridge to move its enterprise applications to the cloud adding the same SSO convenience. The result is single sign-on to service for 20,000 customers and 2,000 employees. "PingFederate is a secure, robust solution that we can use both ways," said Chris Weathers, SaaS operations manager and director of SSO activities at ZS Associates. Full story here.
Carewise Health: One-Click Access
Carewise Health turned to Ping to build one-click access to hundreds of thousands of customers accessing the company's portal. As a bonus, the company used its work as a foundation for future mobile services. "PingFederate runs without us ever having to worry about it. NYU Stern School of Business: Empowered End-User
And the smart folks at the NYU Stern School of Business needed only a bit more than two months to roll out SSO, access to school resources and services, and anytime-anywhere mobile access to 9,000 students, faculty and alumni. The school tapped into Ping's rich set of integration kits, including Apache, to pull off the feat. In the process, it delivered SSO to a range of portal apps, to its email platform, HR information and NYU student resources and services.
