Responsible infrastructure companies routinely communicate information about security vulnerabilities to their customers and clients. Level of disclosure is always an issue. So is reaching people reliably. Our customers have told us we do it a little differently.
We evaluate all potential threats from a customer perspective. Our goal is to give our customers enough information to make informed decisions about risk and response. If a threat is serious enough, we not only send an email to every customer, we follow up with a phone call to be sure this information is reaching the right people. Our customers have told us none of their other vendors does that. In Ping Solutions Support, we think it's the right thing to do.
