At the 2014 company kick-off, the Ping Store raised more than $5,000 for UNICEF! We chose UNICEF because it allowed our employees worldwide to participate in a global program.
Our Denver office donated over $1,200 in school supplies and collected toys and gifts to make sure the families that VOA supports had happy holidays. Ping Identity Marketing also joined forces with VOA to assemble care packages for the inbound elderly.
Our Denver-based engineers gave back to the downtown Denver community by visiting the food warehouse for Volunteers of America. Dressed proudly in their Ping Identity Volunteer shirts, they sorted food to be delivered to senior citizens.
The Ping Identity Vancouver office braved the rain and volunteered at the Sharing Farm. The Sharing Farm in Richmond, BC is a non-profit farming organization whose mission is to grow vegetables and harvest healthy produce to give to charitable food distribution organizations. Our employees harvested and washed 100 pounds of carrots, wheel-barrowed leaves and prepared the soil for the winter — all for a great cause!
Utah-based employees got together for a volunteer day at Candy Cane Corner, a Christmas "store" sponsored by The Road Home — the largest homeless shelter in the Salt Lake City area. Candy Cane Corner is a way for families at the various local shelters to maintain dignity and sense of normalcy during the holiday season. Instead of having gift donations assigned directly to shelter residents, a nearby building is set up as a store so residents can "shop" for their own family members' gifts. Those gifts are set aside and delivered to each family on Christmas morning, bringing a little magic into the lives of kids whose families are going through difficult times.
