Ping Identity eNews

Dear Colleague,

Since we first launched Ping Identity in 2002, we have focused on making complex and proprietary Single Sign-On simple and standardized.  In 2009, we’ll continue to deliver SSO with speed and simplicity, adding versatility to enable identity integration use-cases that were impossible only a few years ago.

In 2002, we hypothesized that identity would one day transform how businesses pursued security, personalization and mobility over the Internet. We understood that federated identity was different than the proprietary and centralized systems that came before it, and that an adherence to standards and a loosely coupled approach was the way forward.

Today companies find their activities around partnering, outsourcing, SaaS adoption, cloud computing, virtualization and mobility to be the norm, rather than the exception. It is with great excitement then that our vision of an Internet identity infrastructure is quickly becoming a reality, and 2009 is the year that we will fulfill this promise.

Pay as you Grow, One Endpoint at a Time

With distributed data and applications – and remote employee and partner access into them becoming a part of everyday business, Internet SSO has become an IT imperative.  It must be implemented quickly and cost-effectively across a variety of internal, external, SaaS and partner applications, avoiding proprietary SSO whenever possible.  Ping Identity’s new Endpoint Program enables standards-based Internet SSO to these applications by deploying a lightweight SAML capability that avoids proprietary SSO, and lengthy development and evaluation cycles.

Download Ping Identity’s “Easy Endpoint Connectivity” Webinar to learn more about how you can quickly and cost-effectively establish Internet SSO to your application partners.

Rapattoni Uses PingFederate to Increase Collaboration and Business Response Time

Serving the real estate industry for more than 37 years, Rapattoni Corporation has an array of integrated products and services for real estate associations and MLS organizations.  Rapattoni products support more than 88% of the nation's Realtors. Given the highly decentralized nature of this industry, real estate associations and Realtors manage a significant number of unique logins in order to collaborate across business IT boundaries.

To reduce this burden and improve overall user experience for the 300,000 agents it supports, Rapattoni chose PingFederate to deliver secure Internet SSO to its multiple business systems.  Download the full case study to learn how PingFederate supports Rapattoni’s efforts to foster secure collaboration opportunities for its user while reducing complexity, accelerating time-to-market and lowering the cost of ownership.
