Andre Durand, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Andre Durand has 15 years of software industry executive leadership experience; and is the founder and CEO of Ping Identity, a provider of Internet identity security solutions serving the enterprise market. Mr. Durand also co-founded Digital ID World, the identity industry conference, which was purchased by IDG in 2007. Prior to Ping Identity, Mr. Durand founded Jabber, Inc., an instant messaging and presence management software provider purchased by Cisco in 2009. While at Jabber, Mr. Durand supported the incubation of the Jabber Software Foundation, a non-profit established to facilitate growth of the Jabber Open Source project. Prior to Jabber, Inc., Mr. Durand founded and was CEO of Durand Communications, a provider of bulletin board software which was sold to Webb Interactive in 1998.
William (Bill) Dedrick, Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Bill has over two decades of experience as a software sales executive. He has served in senior management roles for several successful software companies including Relicore (acquired by Symantec in 2006), IBM, Venetica (acquired by IBM in 2004), Rational Software (acquired by IBM in 2003), SQA (acquired by Rational in 1997), Easel Corporation, and Intersolv (now Merant). His expertise deploying high performance direct and indirect distribution channels has been instrumental in positioning several companies for successful public offerings, acquisitions and continued revenue growth. Dedrick holds a B.S in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
Mike Donaldson, Vice President of Marketing
Accomplished in both entrepreneurial/high growth and turnaround environments, Mike Donaldson, Vice President of Marketing, has gained broad corporate experience in business development, business management, marketing, and sales over the course of his 20+ year career at leading Silicon Valley technology companies. Prior to joining Ping, Donaldson was Chief Marketing Officer at Clear Technology Inc. Before Clear, Donaldson served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Marketing at New Era of Networks (NEON). Mike was the second employee at CrossWorlds Software, Inc., the pioneering enterprise application integration (EAI) software company based in Burlingame, CA that was acquired by IBM after a successful IPO. Earlier in his career, Donaldson held a variety of marketing, sales, business development and technical management positions at Sybase and Informix, two pioneers in relational database management systems, as well as Intergraph, a leader in the CAD/CAM field. He holds BS and MS degrees in Engineering from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.
Mark Viens, Vice President of Global Client Services
Mark joins Ping Identity with over 25 years of experience in Client Services across numerous high technology markets. While VP of Customer Care at Macromedia, Mark had senior global operational management responsibility for Macromedia's Product Support, Customer Services, Training Programs and Partner Enablement. Prior to Macromedia, Mr. Viens led Allaire Corporation's Client Services organizations. Before joining Allaire, Viens spent 15 years with Intergraph Corporation, advancing to the most senior position within the company. Mr. Viens is an active member of several associations focused on improving the art and science of customer support such as the Service & Support Professional Association (SSPA) and the Association for Services Management International (AFSMI).
Bill Wood, Vice President of Engineering
Bill Wood, Vice President of Product and Professional Services, brings his expertise in high integrity software to the management of Ping Identity's Product and Professional Services division. Mr. Wood joins Ping Identity Corporation after a 15 year relationship as a Senior Vice President, Product Development at Colorado Medtech, an engineering services company devoted to defining and developing advanced software and hardware for large medical corporations such as Baxter and Johnson & Johnson. Mr. Wood's published article series in early 1993 dealing with the design analysis methodologies necessary for highly trustworthy software continues to be referenced as a benchmark by those developing life-critical, software-based products. Mr. Wood's responsibilities at Ping Identity include overseeing the development of Ping Identity's software offerings, tailoring agile concepts to a highly distributed, global team, and inspiring innovation from world class engineers.
Patrick Harding, Chief Technology Officer
Patrick Harding is the Chief Technology Officer of Ping Identity, responsible for Ping Identity Labs, emerging technologies, architecture and standards, and developing the technology strategy for the company. Previously, Harding was a VP and the Security Architect (Enterprise Architect Division) at Fidelity Investments where he was responsible for aligning identity management and security technologies with the strategic goals of the business. Harding was integrally involved with the implementation of federated identity technologies at Fidelity -- from"napkin" to production. Mr. Harding has over 15 years experience in software development, networking infrastructure and information security. His industry experience includes financial services, travel services and consulting. Mr. Harding has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
Jeremy Rudel, Vice President of Finance
Jeremy Rudel assumed the Controller position at Ping Identity in October 2003. He served as Director of Finance at Colorado Medtech, Inc. (CMED), a publicly-traded high-tech medical design and manufacturing company located in Boulder, Colorado. During his tenure with CMED, he was a leader in financial management, developing and implementing several strategic and financial business transactions. He was also integral to completing the merger of CMED with CIVCO Holding, Inc. in July 2003. Prior to his time at CMED, Mr. Rudel was with Arthur Andersen LLP in Denver, Colorado.
